I like to weave a few little unexpected treats throughout my party and holiday decor. Sometimes my efforts go unnoticed, but I love it when it gets discovered.
These glam ghoulies are that little something extra that can sneak up on an unsuspecting guest. Sprinkle them throughout your party display.Â
- Tuck into a vase of black roses
- Wind them through your buffet spread
- Wrap them in your front door wreath
- Add them to your costume hat
- Plant them among your tombstone props
That’s just a few of the ways you can incorporate these glittery ghouls into your Halloween decor.

The added eerie elegance will have you wanting more, so use your Cricut Maker for quicker crafting.
I used a glitter craft foam, but paper, felt, and even a combination of these will work well. Floral wire is sandwiched between the pieces, so you get a great look from the front and the back. If you’re in a pinch or won’t be using these where the back can be seen, just cut one piece and glue the wire on to the back.
These Halloween Skull Floral Picks are crafted with our Skull Trio Party Pattern. Grab your free copy from the Haunted Library. And, don’t forget to visit the introduction post to see what else you can do with these skellie faces.

If you are going to use a cutting machine, upload the pattern file to your design software. To cut by hand, print, cut out the pattern, and trace onto materials.
Steps:

Cut two skulls for each floral pick
1. Cut two skulls for each floral pick you want to make.Â
TIP: Shrink or enlarge the pattern to get the size you want. For this demo the skulls are approximately 3″ wide.
NOTE: If using the Gus skull face: cut first skull side, mirror pattern and cut second skull side. This will ensure that the eyes match up when the pieces are glued together.

Form floral wire around openings
2. Lay one skull piece right side down on your table. Take your floral wire and form it around the openings of the skull piece and gently press into the craft foam.

Glue down floral wire and coat skull with E6000
3. Glue the wire down onto the skull piece with E6000 and then spread more E6000 onto the skull.Â
TIP: Be sure to get glue right up the the outside edges and along the openings as it’s easier to do it now then later.

Top with remaining skull piece and gently press into place
4. Take the remaining skull piece and, with wrong sides together, lay it over top of the glue and gently press into place sandwiching the wire in between the two pieces.
